Handling Muck!

The Windham Regional Commission has talked to the state about concerns of folks mucking things out and coming into contact with potential crud in the muck.  Basically, if you’re cleaning out muck you should wear dust masks and gloves and wash after since you don’t know where the mud has been.

If you see or smell fuel, contact the 24-hour Hazardous Materials Spills Hotline at 1-800-641-5005.  Response from that may be days away, but that soil will need special contractors to remove and dispose.
